PUBG mobile was banned by the Indian Government few month before. People were trying to looking for the alternatives of PUBG at that time. Now the PUBG mobile is about to re lunch in India as Battlegrounds Mobile India.

Last week PUBG Mobile India accidentally released a few trailers to spark after launch, but they were quickly removed. Now the leaked poster also shows that PUBG Mobile India will be released as Battlegrounds Mobile India and the release date is still unclear. But various reports suggested that Battleground Mobile India or PUBG Mobile India could be launched in May last week. Although, this is just speculation, the company will officially announce the release dates.

On 6th May 2021, the official website of Battleground Mobile India goes live, which not only confirms that PUBG Mobile will return to India, but will also change its name for the Indian market. The website links to the official Battleground Mobile India YouTube channel, but has a video at this time. It is also notable that PUBG is not mentioned anywhere on the website. We can see “KRAFTON” written there, which is, you know, the company behind PUBG.

There is no information about the release date of Battleground Mobile India yet. We do not know for sure at this point whether Battleground Mobile India will be a rebranded version of PUBG Mobile only or if it will be modified specifically for the Indian market. In a press release released in November, PUBG Corporation stated that PUBG Mobile would be “modified to create and promote a healthier gaming environment for India, enhance game content and be adapted to reflect local needs” .
