MIUI 11 Global Stable ROM Update

MIUI 11 has also been introduced with Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 8 and Mi Air Purifier 2C. This is an upgrade to MIUI 10. The company claims that many UI elements in MIUI 11 have been removed to give the new minimalistic design. To compete with Android 10 and Apple iOS 13, New update will offer an ultimate full-screen experience with dedicated system-wide dark mode. MIUI 11 Update Rollout Plan

At the event held in China last month, it was announced that the update will be available to many Xiaomi smartphones. During the event held in New Delhi, Xiaomi has announced that the update for Poco F1, Redmi K20, Redmi Y3, Redmi 7, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7S, and Redmi Note 7 Pro will be held from October 22 to October 31 in its first phase.

In the second phase, Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi 6, Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi 6A, Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi 5, Redmi 5A, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Y1, Redmi Y1 Lite, Redmi Y2, Redmi 4, Mi Updates for Mix 2 and Mi Max 2 will be released from November 4 to November 12.


In the third phase, the update for Redmi Note 6 Pro, Redmi 7A, Redmi 8, Redmi 8A and Redmi Note 8 smartphones will be updated from November 13 to November 29. The Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone will get an update from December 18 to December 26.

MIUI 11 Features and Changes

The MIUI 11 is designed in such a way that it will provide an always-on experience. As we know Xiaomi offering a clock style feature in Redmi K20 phones. However, Xiaomi is expanding the existing experience with MIUI 11, now you will get Dynamic Clock.

Xiaomi has also given an option to add a symmetrical pattern to the lock screen in the update. The company claims that these patterns are inspired by the Kaleidoscope. MIUI 11 users can also add their own custom code or messages that will appear on the lock screen. With the help of this update, Xiaomi will provide a light-like experience directly on screen. Now, even if there is no notification light on your phone, you will get notification alerts through the on-screen notification effect.

More Features

Xiaomi has extended its partnership with Glance to deliver the Wallpaper Carousel feature. The company claims that this new feature is designed in such a way that it will give personalized lock screen experience to the users. In addition to this, MIUI 11 is coming with a dubbed video dynamic feature. With the help of this feature, users can set any video as wallpaper on the screen.


The existing file manager app with MIUI 11 has also been upgraded with the Document Viewer. Xiaomi has integrated the task manager in the Mi Notes app itself so that users will be able to see the to-do list, adding new tasks to the existing list. Apart from this, if the user wishes, then he will be able to record the task with his voice.

With MIUI 11 the calculator app has also been upgraded with the floating interface so that users can easily perform calculations. Features like age, EMI, GST and split bill will also be seen in the app. It is coming with a step tracker feature, it can be accessed by swiping right on the home screen.

MIUI 11 is coming with Quick Reply feature, with the help of this feature, you can easily reply to the message or call without leaving the game on the active app, video or screen. Xiaomi has announced that the new MIUI 11 update will come with features like Natural Sound Effects, Wireless Print, Dual Clock, Mi Share.
