Is JioTV available for all platforms?

While you can use the JioCinema application on your Smart TV and PC, the JioTV application is only available for smartphones and tablets. You won’t find this Live TV app in the Microsoft Store or on your Android TV. However, there is a solution for this.

For Smart TV, all you need to do is download the Jio TV APK on your PC and then copy and paste the APK from the pendrive and install it on your Android TV. However, the browsing experience may not be as pleasant as that of a smartphone. If you want to watch JioTV on a bigger screen, it’s better to watch it on PC or laptop. Here’s how you can do that.

How to watch JioTV on PC or laptop?

Step 1: Install Bluestacks Andy on your PC or laptop.

Step 2: After downloading it, go to the Google Play Store.

Step 3: Find the JioTV app and install it. Once you have downloaded it, it will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. You can open it whenever you want.

JioTV application on a laptop with Android Emulator: Does it work well?

The JioTV app works great on a laptop or PC. In fact, you can feel like you are using it on your smartphone. Just hover over any channel and you can start watching. Bluestacks is one of the best Android emulators to use any Android application on your laptop. Provides a nice user interface and controls.

When you open the JioTV app, it will appear in portrait mode, but once you click on a channel or episode, you will be able to watch it in landscape mode. If not, you can use the rotate button to view the video horizontally. You will find this button on the right side of the screen, where all the controls are located.

You can easily shorten any video by clicking and dragging it down, just like you would on your smartphone. You can disable the minimized video by sliding it to the left. If you are not satisfied with the default full screen mode, you can click on Bluestacks full screen mode.

If you can’t get out of full screen mode, just hit ESC on your keyboard and click the Back button (on BlueStacks). The latter is in the lower right corner of the screen.

You can also browse other channels while watching videos. However, you do not have the option to record videos that are present on the smartphone. If you accidentally closed the app, you can access it again from the Recent apps section on the top bar.
