Ultra-Wideband technology will be used

The ‘Digital Car Key’ function works with Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology. This is a type of radio transmission technology. In which the sensor can act as a small radar and indicate the direction of the signal. With this, the antenna present on your phone can locate and identify things equipped with the surrounding UWB technology. Those who have a car equipped with NFC technology will only be able to unlock their car door by touching it with the phone.

In addition, according to Sameer Samant, this feature will soon be available for many more of the company’s devices and soon this technology will work in both BMW and Fords cars.

How to install Android 12 Beta on your phone

Currently Android 12 Beta 1 can be downloaded only on Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3A, Pixel 3A XL, Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4A, Pixel 4A 5G and Pixel 5. If you have any of these phones, You can download the beta version on the Android 12 website, although registration is required.
