When is Amazon Prime Day 2021?
After months of rumours, Amazon now confirmed that Prime Day 2021 is scheduled for June 21 and 22. Savings starts at 12 noon. PT / 3AM ET is on Monday, June 21 and ends at 11:59 PM. PT / 2:59 a.m. ET on Tuesday, June 23.
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is now an annual savings bonus available to members of Amazon’s Prime service. It began in 2015 as a celebration of Amazon’s 20th anniversary, “a one-day event packed with more deals than Black Friday, especially for Prime members around the world.” That first Prime Day wasn’t really a huge success. Stocks of the company’s goods for sale quickly ran out and waiting lists were quickly filled, leaving people with few options.
The following year, Amazon appeared to act a bit more, and other retailers such as Walmart stepped in with rival sales. Prime “Day” has since expanded to a two-day event, with advance offers in the days leading up to the main event.
How does Amazon Prime Day work?
Being Prime Day, you have to be a Prime member to get the best deals. If it isn’t, it’s free to join, free to join for 30 days, after which it costs $119 per year (or $12.99 per month). Once you’ve signed up for Prime and logged into your account, Amazon’s website and app will display Prime Day prices, and you can add them to your cart and pay as you normally would.
What Kind of Amazon Prime Day 2021 Deals Can I Expect?

Starting Monday, June 7 through Prime Day, Amazon will offer a $10 credit to use on Prime Day to members who spend $10 on US-based small business products and brands. Amazon says more than 300,000 sellers are eligible for the “Spend $10, Get $10” promotion.
Prime members who use their Visa Amazon Prime Rewards card or Amazon Prime Store card on “Spend $10, Get $10” products will also receive 10% cash back.
Prime Day Twitch Deals
Game streaming platform Twitch, which Amazon acquired in 2014, will play a big role on Prime Day this year. Amazon has started rolling out Prime Day deals on its Twitch merchandise store, in addition to continuing its current offer of 50% off Prime members’ First Channel subscriptions for the first month.

Amazon offers several ways to get Prime Day sales. Flash Deals fills the home page with deals you can take advantage of for a limited time only. Small Business Promotions earn you a $10 Amazon credit when you spend $10 on a small business through Amazon. And if you have a device with Alexa, you can take advantage of some special offers by using your voice to order.
On the other hand, we have already seen some initial offerings emerging. The Fitbit Sense was recently downgraded to $240, the lowest price on record, while the Roku Ultra 2020 4K UHD transmitter was on sale for $69, which equates to the lowest price we’ve seen.
